Important Information Before Taking Actifed

Do not take Actifed Tablets if you:

• are under 12 years of age;

• are allergic to pseudoephedrine, triprolidine or any of the other ingredients;

• have cardiovascular disease;

• have severe or uncontrolled high blood pressure;

• are taking beta-blockers;

• have severe acute or chronic kidney disease or kidney failure;

• are taking, or have taken within the previous 14 days, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI).

Actifed may not be suitable for everyone. Speak to your pharmacist or doctor before taking it if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take other medicines.

Particular care is required with conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid problems, glaucoma, prostate problems, liver impairment or kidney impairment.
